Excursion to the monument Madara Rider and a local winery
Nature, History, and Wine Adventure Tour
The first stop of the tour is the natural phenomenon of Stone Forest (“Pobiti Kamani”): impressive sculptures of stones, created by Mother Nature thousands of years ago. The Stone pillars are up to 8 – 9 meters high, some of them are hollow, others – are solid cylinders. Many separate stones are formed, which are scattered over the entire zone.
Then visit the world-famous rock relief Madara Reider (UNESCO), which is almost as old as Bulgaria itself – over 1300 years!
Salla Estate Winery
After that, it’s time for a typical Bulgarian lunch in the open nature. There is a beautiful view of vineyards, hazelnut plantations and the Balkan Mountains.
In the village of Blaskovo, you will visit a horse farm, where you will learn a lot about the “Lipizzans”.
Finally, enjoy three different wines from the Salla Winery, which has received many awards in Bulgaria and abroad.
