The picturesque Nessebar is located on a small peninsula, which is only connected to the mainland by a narrow headland. It is not for nothing that the city is under UNESCO protection because it has a unique open-air museum. Different epochs have left their traces in Old Nessebar and live on in architectural masterpieces. Numerous churches from the Middle Ages, as well as picturesque houses, shape the appearance of this old town.
